Beyond The Box Update:
We are so proud of what we have achieved as Beyond The Box. Over the last year we’ve trained over 150 people on our introduction to gender diversity course! We are please to announce we are now moving this training under the banner of Pride Outside CIC. Pride Outside is a Glasgow based Social Enterprise which is creating a world where LGBTQ+ people can thrive and not just survive, they do this through training to reduce discrimination faced by the LGBTQ+ community and also through wellbeing events outside.
Rowan and Ellis will be offering the gender diversity training publically next year, through Pride Outside, with dates announced in January, and we’re also offering lots of organsational specific training, on LGBTQ+ inclusion and Gender Diversity inclusion, you can see the organisational training offer here.
We’ll be closing down our Beyond The Box website and mailing list, so if you want to continue to hear from us, please sign up to the Pride Outside Diversity training email list here.
Or if social media is more your thing you can follow us here

We bring our own lived experiences of gender and sexuality diversity into our work, and we are passionate about raising awareness, offering support and co-creating spaces for exploration.
"I have never felt educated and moved at the same time from a professional training before. Great work , information delivered with care and compassion. Many things were cleared in my mind but most importantly facilitators created a very safe space for everyone. Would recommend to everyone, therapists or not"
"This training is brilliant - I highly recommend it for everyone. Rowan and Ellis create a space that is inclusive and also challenging in a way that really support learning. I came away with lots to think about and plenty of ideas about where I can learn more. Thank you very much. I will definitely recommend it within my professional and personal circles"
"I would recommend this training to everyone. It has been fascinating and has shown me what I didn't know which has inspired me to take my training and learning in this area to the next level. This training is so important and well presented that I will talk to my workplace about encouraging attendance from colleagues"
